This is one of those pieces that just owns the room.
I went heavier on the contrast with this one. Warm golds and oranges pushed hard against those deep purples and teals. Up close it’s loose and messy in the best way, but step back and it pulls together into something pretty powerful.
The face is where I slowed it down a bit. Kept the eyes sharp so it actually connects with you, then let everything else stay more raw and energetic. There’s a bit of chaos in the body and background, which I like. Makes it feel alive instead of overworked.
At 48x60, it’s not a subtle piece. This is the one people walk into a room and go straight to.
